When PayPal is selected during booking, SE Booking Pro uses a pending booking flow.

Payment flow:

1. Customer completes booking steps
2. Customer selects PayPal
3. Booking is created as pending
4. Slot is temporarily locked
5. Customer completes PayPal checkout
6. PayPal payment is captured
7. Booking becomes confirmed
8. Payment status becomes paid
9. Confirmation emails are sent

Pending lock:

The slot is locked for the number of minutes configured in General Settings.

If payment is not completed before the lock expires, the booking can expire and the slot can become available again.

Payment data may include:

• Payment method
• Payment status
• PayPal order ID
• PayPal capture ID
• Total amount
• Currency
